Max & Moritz
SWK Stadtwerke Kaiserslautern Versorgungs-AG operates two natural gas storage facilities (spherical storage tanks), named Max & Moritz, to ensure a secure gas supply for the city of Kaiserslautern. They are located at Brandenburger Straße 2, 67655 Kaiserslautern.
These natural gas storage facilities are subject to the Major Accidents Ordinance pursuant to Section 8a and are classified as a lower-class operating area. They have been notified to the competent supervisory authority in accordance with Section 7(1) of the Major Accidents Ordinance.
