A major success for the energy transition: district heating for 1. FC Kaiserslautern

Inauguration ceremony marks the start of a sustainable, locally sourced heating supply The successfully completed project to provide heating for the Fritz-Walter Stadium is a fine example of strong regional teamwork. This success is the result of close collaboration between the stadium company, 1. FC Kaiserslautern, SWK Stadtwerke Kaiserslautern Versorgungs-AG and WVE GmbH – both of which are part of the SWK Group – and other regional partners. Supplying the stadium with district heating marks a significant milestone – and is therefore a cause for celebration.
