Markus Vollmer is retiring

30 years of dedication to SWK, with heart and mind The Markus Vollmer era is coming to an end at SWK Stadtwerke Kaiserslautern. The graduate industrial engineer is due to retire on 30 June 2024. As a member of the Executive Board of SWK Stadtwerke Kaiserslautern Versorgungs-AG and Verkehrs-AG, and as Managing Director of the SWK Group, Vollmer was responsible for more than 1,000 employees across seven main companies and 43 direct and indirect subsidiaries. Yesterday, the long-serving member of the Executive Board and the management team was given a farewell reception at the Kammgarn Kaiserslautern, which also forms part of the SWK Group.

SWK supports the Lautern primary schools’ town football championships

FIFTY-SEVEN matches full of passion, FOUR HUNDRED minutes of excitement. The ultimate ‘Westkurve atmosphere’ – that’s the best way to describe the indoor football tournament for primary schools in the city of Kaiserslautern. K-Town Arena GmbH made its four football pitches – all in excellent condition – at the SOC Sportpark Kaiserslautern available free of charge for this football festival for 6–11-year-old primary school players from the city.
