At our company, you can look forward to a varied three-year technical apprenticeship. With us, you’ll be part of the team right from the start and gain a wealth of knowledge in this exciting profession. This includes both theory and practical experience. You’ll learn everything you need to successfully complete your apprenticeship here on site and at the Berufsbildende Schule Technik in Neuwied.
During your apprenticeship as an environmental technologist specialising in water supply, you’ll learn how to operate, monitor and maintain machinery and systems for water extraction, treatment, conveyance and distribution. You’ll also learn how to take water samples and how to monitor and assess drinking water quality.
- Monitoring and control of largely automated systems for water abstraction, water treatment, water storage and water distribution
- Taking samples to ensure water quality
- Cleaning and maintenance of plant, equipment and distribution networks
- Documentation and analysis of measurement results, work processes and operational procedures
- Training as a qualified electrician for specific tasks within the water supply sector
- Remuneration in accordance with the collective agreement (TVAöD): 1st year: €1,368.26, 2nd year: €1,418.20, 3rd year: €1,464.02
- 30 days’ annual leave
