The city museum (Theodor Zink Museum & Wadgasserhof) showcases the history of the city and the region in two historic building complexes. In addition to the permanent exhibitions, special exhibitions invite you to visit.

The changing special exhibitions on art and cultural history take up current topics and regularly present the collections in a new light.

The museum’s free permanent exhibition tells the story of the city from prehistory and early history to the 20th century. The collection exhibitions provide [SN1] an insight into the museum’s rich holdings: from folkloristic objects, furniture, arts and crafts, and design to contemporary applied art.
