Regardless of which supplier you use, we need to record your meter readings. We then pass these readings on to your suppliers.
Accurate bills can be produced using the current meter readings. If we do not receive any meter readings, your consumption will have to be estimated. This may lead to inaccurate bills. Our annual meter reading takes place at the end of the year.
The process of taking an annual meter reading
Cover letter
Depending on what you opted for last year, you will receive a letter by post or email.
Remote reading of the radio meters
Our staff read the meter readings remotely.
Reminder
Reminder emails will be sent out shortly before the registration deadline.
Meeting the registration deadline
The deadline for registration is 31 December.
Data processing
Once we have received all the meter readings, we will begin processing the data.
Case handling
Cases requiring clarification will be reviewed and, where necessary, the relevant parties will be contacted.
Estimate
Meter readings that are not available are estimated.
Transfer for settlement
Finally, the data is transferred for billing purposes.
