Healthy spring water, thirst-quenchers and purifiers
Our water is versatile and comes from our region. It is sourced from the “Lauterspring” spring and 23 deep groundwater wells. In total, we extract around 7.5 million cubic metres of groundwater annually. And just as with electricity, natural gas and district heating, we also provide you with the very best quality as your water supplier. Always at a fair price, of course. Every day, all year round.

FAQ – Answers to the most frequently asked questions
As a general rule for human consumption: it is better to let the water run until it becomes noticeably cooler. This ensures that it is fresh.
Our drinking water has a hardness rating of 1 – so it is very soft. The benefits: you need less washing-up liquid and cleaning products. This is good for your wallet and the environment. What’s more, it puts much less strain on the sewage system.
You can find information about the quality of our drinking water here.
There could be a variety of reasons for this.
In this case, please contact our faults helpline: 0631/8001-4444.
The term ‘water hardness’ describes the lime content, or more precisely, the concentration of dissolved calcium and magnesium compounds in the water.
If the water contains a lot of calcium and magnesium, it is referred to as hard water; if it contains little, it is soft water.
