Construction Cost Subsidy (BKZ)
In accordance with Section 11 of the NAV, a construction cost subsidy is charged to the connection holder to partially cover the costs necessary for the construction and reinforcement of local distribution systems, in line with economically efficient operational management.

General and Contractual Terms and Conditions for Grid Connection

Electricity Grid Access: In accordance with Section 20 of the Energy Network Act (EnWG), electricity network operators must grant everyone objectively justified and non-discriminatory access to the grid and publish the terms and conditions, including model contracts, for such access on the internet.
Network access is administered in accordance with the Electricity Network Access Regulation and the associated network access contracts.

Universal electricity supplier
Under Section 36 of the Energy Supply Act (EnWG), operators of general supply energy networks are obliged to determine the basic supplier for the next three calendar years every three years, with effect from 1 July, commencing on 1 July 2006. The basic supplier is the company that supplies the largest number of domestic customers within a general supply network area.
