A real treat at a special price
The Deutsche Radio Philharmonie (DRP) draws on the full richness and diversity that classical music has to offer. The DRP has long been regarded as one of Germany’s most renowned radio orchestras. Jointly sponsored by Saarländischer Rundfunk and Südwestrundfunk, this radio symphony orchestra is based in Saarbrücken and Kaiserslautern.
Alongside the full orchestra, there are several ensembles formed from the orchestra’s musicians which perform independently. Ensemble concerts in Kaiserslautern usually take place at the SWR Studio in the Emmerich-Smola-Saal. The hall, with its modern media technology and excellent acoustics, continually enriches the city’s cultural offering. Use your SWKcard to attend the ensemble concerts at a preferential rate.
