Preserving history. Shaping the future.

The City Museum (Theodor Zink Museum & Wadgasserhof) showcases the history of the city and the region across two historic building complexes. Alongside the permanent exhibitions, special exhibitions invite visitors to explore the museum.

The changing special exhibitions on art and cultural history address current themes and continually present the museum’s collections in a new light.

The museum’s free permanent exhibition traces the city’s history from prehistory and early history right through to the 20th century. The collection exhibitions offer an insight into the museum’s rich holdings: from folklore artefacts to furniture, crafts and design, right through to contemporary applied art.

Look forward to an impressive museum visit right in the heart of Kaiserslautern’s Old Town!
