Taking part in the prize draw
Entry to the prize draw is voluntary and free of charge.
- Anyone aged 18 or over and resident in the Federal Republic of Germany is eligible to take part. Employees and relatives of SWK Stadtwerke Kaiserslautern GmbH and all participating companies are excluded from taking part in the prize draw.
- In the case of SWKcard prize draws, only holders of a valid SWKcard are eligible to take part.
- Participation via prize draw clubs, automated services or other service providers is not permitted.
Prize draw
- The winner will be selected shortly, but no later than one week after the end of the competition.
- Winners will be drawn at random, unless the competition explicitly states that the winner will be selected by a jury.
- If the competition is run via social media channels (e.g. Facebook or Instagram), we will inform the winners of their prize via a reply to their Facebook or Instagram comment under the competition post, or via a direct message. The winner must then contact SWK Stadtwerke Kaiserslautern GmbH within one week by sending a private message to the Facebook or Instagram page or to the email address provided in the notification. If the winner does not respond within this period, they forfeit their claim to the prize and a new winner will be selected.
- If the competition is not run via social media channels (e.g. in the case of a trade fair competition or a prize draw via our website), we will inform the winner in writing or by email of their win. The winner must then contact SWK Stadtwerke Kaiserslautern GmbH at the email address provided in the notification within one week. If the winner does not respond within this period, they will forfeit their claim to the prize and a new winner will be selected.
- In the case of SWKcard prize draws, the winner must verify their identity by providing the customer number and address listed on their SWKcard.
Prize handover
- Information regarding the handover or dispatch of prizes will follow once the winner has made personal contact via the Facebook or Instagram page of SWK Stadtwerke Kaiserslautern GmbH. For competitions not run via social media channels, the information will be sent to the email address provided by the winner once they have made direct contact. Prizes are usually delivered by post.
- Upon handover of the prizes, Stadtwerke Kaiserslautern GmbH is released from all obligations. Stadtwerke Kaiserslautern GmbH accepts no liability for material defects and/or legal defects in the prizes.
- Prize claims are not transferable to other persons. If the prize is an item or a voucher, a cash alternative is not available.
General
- Legal recourse is excluded.
- The organiser reserves the right to terminate the competition without prior notice for good cause. In this case, no prize draw will take place. The organiser will announce the termination immediately. Good cause shall be deemed to exist if, for technical or legal reasons, it is not possible to carry out the competition.
- Comments that breach Facebook and Instagram guidelines or statutory provisions will be removed without notice once they come to the organiser’s attention. The participant will thereby be excluded from winning.
Data Protection
Personal data is stored by SWK Stadtwerke Kaiserslautern Versorgungs-AG in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation solely for the purposes necessary in connection with this promotion.
